NEWSLETTER NOVEMBER 2010

Dear Friends,

It is a pleasure to contact you once again from an island that is still at soaring temperatures of around 30 degrees celsius! I sincerely believe that we will be celebrating Christmas this year on the beach!

We have had a busy November with both group and individual business and our guests have all returned home bronzed from the beautiful weather. Our Christmas decorations are now up and indeed it does seem a little out of place with guests walking around the 7 meter Christmas tree in our lobby, wearing their swim suits!

We are proud to have raised another €1000 for our supported charity, the World Food Programme, and would like to announce that this year you will not be receiving any printed forms of Christmas cards, as we have decided to donate the money reserved for this to the charity which helps feed so many hungry children. We will however be sending you all an electronic Christmas card that is sure to be different, so keep a look out for this coming to you all soon!

Our new beach bar is now under construction and we are very excited about our latest venue which will open in April 2011. Ms Maria Kyriakides has won the prize for naming the venue and we are extremely happy to call this outlet 'Seashells Beach Tavern'. Congratulations to Maria!

Our Spa name has still not been decided however, and there is yet another prize to be won by anyone who can suggest a worthwhile name, so please do email me with any ideas that you may have.

The Spa will be renovated in January-March 2011 but we will still be offering all Spa and gym facilities in an alternative location. The plans for the new Spa are spectacular and we will be offering an array of treatments and facilities that will include a rasul, water jet massage bed, massaging pedicure chair, dedicated beautician suite, private and public saunas and steambaths, new jacuzzi, state of the art hair salon, relaxing room and much more.

We have some fantastic offers for December with rates that will amaze you, so if you are thinking of a quick sun-seeking trip away, do check out our website or email us directly. Our Christmas and New Year's programme is also available so do have a look at all we are planning for the festive season.

Finally, for those of you who live in Cyprus, we have live music at the Captain's Bar every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights so do feel free to pop in and enjoy the show. Our Phoenician Restaurant serving a fusion of Arabic and Mediterranean cuisine in a traditional meze style (for only €24 per person) is also open every Saturday evening and is available to guests from outside the hotel. Do call us to make a reservation.

Our warmest wishes for the festive season and as always we are looking forward to seeing you all soon,

Farah Shammas
Business Development Director
