NEWSLETTER MARCH 2011

Dear Friends,

It is a pleasure to contact you all at the official start to the summer season.

We are now in the process of re-opening all our summer outlets which include the Amphibion Wet-Dry Pool Bar, Splash Restaurant, the Phoenician Arabic-Mediterranean Fusion Restaurant and most excitingly the new Seashells Beach Tavern...all coming up soon.

Our new Serenity Spa is also opening its doors this weekend with a skilled team of carefully chosen therapists. The Spa includes our amazing Rasul, water-jet massage bed, solarium, massage rooms, a body treatment room, beautician's suite, dedicated manicure/pedicure room, a relaxing room, and private sauna and steam bath. Photographs of all these areas will be available this month to be viewed on our website and we will include some in our next newsletter too. If you would like to find out more, or book treatments in advance, please contact spa@raphael.com.cy

The St Raphael Marina also had a busy month with all marina members looking forward to the summer season. The AGM of the St Raphael Yacht Club was held on the 29th of March where all members discussed past and future activities and voted for new board members. For more information, please feel free to contact mm@raphael.com.cy

Our staff training programmes are now in full swing. We firmly believe that our staff are our strongest asset and hence we insist on investing in our team. Our latest venture has been to implement a new course called 'Train the Trainer' and we are one of the first hotels in Cyprus to follow this programme. This programme will consist of various training seminars whereby key members of our staff are trained to be consistent trainers to all their fellow colleagues in their department, in turn allowing for improvements to service to persist throughout the year. We are extremely proud of all our staff members who are completing this course and are sure all our guests will feel the benefits of this during their stay with us.

This is also the season where we have and are attending various tourism exhibitions around the globe. We are very proud to have won an award from our Russian associates, Biblio Globus, at MITT exhibition in Moscow, for outstanding cooperation and support as one of their leading All Inclusive Resort properties.

Last but by no means least, we are so very, very proud to have been nominated once again in the World Travel Awards - this time in FOUR categories....Cyprus' Leading All Inclusive Resort, Cyprus' Leading Resort, Europe's Leading Couples Resort and Mediterranean's Leading Resort. Please do vote for us by visiting www.worldtravelawards.com/vote Your votes are always appreciated and we sincerely thank you for your time in helping us secure these awards for the fourth consecutive year.

Wishing you all a wonderful summer and hope to see you all here for some Cyprus Sunshine and Hospitality.

Best Regards,

Farah Shammas
Business Development Director
