Our journey begins with a short visit to the only natural Sponge Factory on the Island. See the special way that sponges are cleaned and prepared for sale, and for export to Europe. Learn about the fascinating life and history of sponges and loofahs. Then you will be given the chance to buy any of these useful products at factory prices, an ideal gift to take back home.
Then it’s onto ‘Watermania,’ Limassol’s fabulous waterpark lying approx. 10km outside the main town in the Phassouri plantation area. This impressive facility stands amid 65 Donums of lush green parkland. Surrounded by citrus groves and set in beautiful landscaped gardens, “Watermania” Waterpark is a superb way to spend an unforgettable day out in Cyprus. Relax and float along the long lazy river that passes through caves and waterfalls and enjoy the leafy beauty of the park around you. The 3000 sq.m. wave pool challenges you with its six different types of waves.
