The Festival takes place in the Lemesos (Limassol) Municipal Gardens, which are situated on the east side of the town near the sea. There is an entrance fee which is payable at the gate, of which there are three. “Anthestiria” is a celebration for the coming of Spring and the renewal of nature and life dating back to Ancient Greece. The programme includes amongst others a flower exhibition and a parade of groups of people and chariots, along the coastal road starting from the Limassol tourist area towards Germasogeia Police Station.

Takes place at the end of July in the Public Gardens with theatre and musical performances at the open air theatre. There are also art exhibitions, singing and dancing. Groups from other countries also take part.
